Our Journey and Technological Evolution
Founded in 2015, EDI AG (formerly EDI GmbH) builds intelligent AI solutions that help organizations transform data into actionable knowledge. As part of our innovation journey, we patented an AI-based hybrid model that formalizes expert knowledge — making it reusable, scalable, and intelligent.
What began with a focus on automotive quickly expanded: in 2016, we launched the EDI SVP for smarter product validation, and by 2017, we extended into the process industry — laying the groundwork for our spin-off, StableFlame.
In 2018, we introduced the EDI hive IoT & AI Framework, enabling companies to harness industrial Big Data at scale.
With the formation of a holding structure in 2023, StableFlame officially joined the EDI ecosystem, strengthening our long-term vision. In 2024, we added a cutting-edge solution powered by Large Language Models (LLMs) and Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), helping businesses access, share, and reuse the knowledge they already have — through a simple, web-based interface.
